We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 15th ranked Lions (9-18) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Schalke (8-19) 98-91 on Wednesday. Lions were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Courtney Belger (187-89, college: Quincy) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Shavar Newkirk (183-96, college: St.Joseph's) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners.
