TBL top team - Fethiye (18-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Duzce Belediye (6-16) 92-88. Fethiye players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. It was a quality performance for American center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import point guard Erick Neal (178-95, college: UT Arlington) accounted for 10 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Fethiye's coach Alkim Ay allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Lamonte Bearden (190-95, college: WKU) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals and swingman Gokturk Ural (196-95) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for Duzce Belediye in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Fethiye have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Newly promoted Fethiye maintains first place with 18-4 record. Duzce Belediye lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Fethiye will play against Merkezefendi (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Duzce Belediye will play against Ankara B. (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
