The game between Top Four teams took place in Istanbul. 4th placed host Galatasaray (16-7) lost to second ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (20-3) 79-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Galatasaray. It was a great evening for American forward DJ Kennedy (198-89, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). American-Slovenian power forward Jordan Morgan (203-91, college: Michigan) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). International forward Yigit Arslan (198-96) responded with 22 points and American forward Alex Poythress (203-93, college: Kentucky) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Galatasaray's coach Ertugrul Erdogan rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pinar Karsiyaka have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain second place with 20-3 record having just one point less than leader Anadolu Efes. Galatasaray at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Pinar Karsiyaka are looking forward to face Afyon Bld (#13) in Afyonkarahisar in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Galatasaray will play on the road against OGM Orman (#12) in Ankara and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
