Rather predictable result in Istanbul where third ranked Fenerbahce (18-5) defeated 5th ranked Tofas (15-8) 84-75 on Sunday. Fenerbahce looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for French guard Nando De-Colo (196-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. International Melih Mahmutoglu (193-90) helped adding 14 points. Fenerbahce's coach Zeljko Obradovic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Baris Ermis (194-85) responded with 14 points and American power forward DJ White (206-86, college: Indiana, agency: Network Sports International) scored 10 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Fenerbahce. They maintain third place with 18-5 record having just one point less than leader Anadolu Efes. Loser Tofas keeps the fifth position with eight games lost.
