Another exciting game was between EnBW Ludwigsburg and SC Rasta Vechta where EnBW Ludwigsburg (1-0) beat SC Rasta Vechta (0-1) on the road 81-76. SC Rasta Vechta was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Thomas Wimbush (201-93, college: Fairmont St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import guard Marcos Knight (188-89, college: MTSU, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Polish Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-92) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: UNCG, agency: 3Eye) added 18 points in the effort for SC Rasta Vechta. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
