Another exciting game was between Bayern Muenchen and Crailsheim Merlins where Bayern Muenchen (1-1) crushed Crailsheim Merlins (0-2) on the road with 31-point difference 110-79. The game without a history. Bayern Muenchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Crailsheim Merlins' 34 and made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Crailsheim Merlins 28-17. It was a great shooting night for Bayern Muenchen especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Crailsheim Merlins were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for French center Mathias Lessort (206-95, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Maodo Lo (191-92, college: Columbia) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Naturalized Chilean Sebastian Herrera (193-97) answered with 27 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American guard Javontae Hawkins (196-93, college: Fordham) added 8 points in the effort for Crailsheim Merlins. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
