Date: June 9, 2020
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Brose Baskets (0-1) against top-ranked ALBA Berlin on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by ALBA Berlin 98-91. They made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 7 rebounds. Cameroonian center Landry Nnoko (208-94, college: Clemson) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American guard Jordan Crawford (193-88, college: Xavier) replied with 20 points and the former international center Elias Harris (203-89, college: Gonzaga) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Brose Baskets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ALBA Berlin (2-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ratiopharm and Ludwigsburg. Brose Baskets at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Vechta and EWE Baskets. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
