The most important game in the last round between third ranked SC Rasta Vechta (0-2) and fifth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (1-2) on Thursday night. SC Rasta Vechta was defeated by Deutsche Bank Skyliners in a tough game on the road 59-63. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 32-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was naturalized Cuban swingman Yorman Polas Bartolo (191-85) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Polish Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-92) who recorded 18 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: UNCG, agency: 3Eye) added 19 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Deutsche Bank Skyliners left bottom position moving up to third place. SC Rasta Vechta at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Brose Bask.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
