BBL round 7 most important game was a victory of Bayern Muenchen over 3rd placed BG Goettingen 90-55 on Friday night. The game without a history. Bayern Muenchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to BG Goettingen's 20. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Danilo Barthel (208-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American point guard TJ Bray (196-92, college: Princeton) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. Marvin Omuvwie (196-97) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian forward Mihajlo Andric (201-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points in the effort for BG Goettingen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second place with 2-1 record behind leader Ludwigsburg, which they share with EWE Baskets. BG Goettingen at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Fraport SKY. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
