Regular Season Round 1: Nord Dragonz - Flames 82-85

An interesting game was also tough home loss of Nord Dragonz in a game in Eisenstadt versus undefeated Flames 85-82. Nord Dragonz was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 26-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Nord Dragonz outrebounded Flames 45-29 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Ben Seipt (196-96) nailed 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and forward David Wrumnig (175-0) accounted for 19 points. Five Flames players scored in double figures. Guard Dragisa Najdanovic (183-88) came up with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Lukas Knor (195-1) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Nord Dragonz in the defeat. Nord Dragonz's coach Felix Jambor rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Flames will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nord Dragonz will play against Furstenfeld Panthers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
