Bakken smashed Copenhagen in Aarhus 105-55. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Copenhagen to just 4 points in second quarter. Bakken forced 27 Copenhagen turnovers and outrebounded them 39-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Deshawn Stephens (203-89, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard QJ Peterson (183-94, college: VMI) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Steffen Wich felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Patrick Burke (202-96, college: DBU) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Bakary Dibba (203-1) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Copenhagen. Copenhagen will play next round against strong Horsens IC trying to get back on the winning streak. Bakken will try to continue on its current victory against Vaerlose on the road.
