Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Istanbul: Acibadem and Dacka. Dacka was defeated at home 91-95 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Acibadem made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. American guard Erick Green (190-91, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 26 points and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Mexican guard Alexander Perez Kaufmann (191-93, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists during the contest. Acibadem's coach Zafer Aktas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-96) responded with 34 points (!!!) and American Andrew Andrews (188-93, college: Washington) scored 16 points and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Acibadem will play against Turk Telekom in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dacka will play on the road against Buyukcekmece and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
