Regular Season Round 2: Anadolu Efes - Turk Telekom 83-78

No shocking result in a game when Anadolu Efes beat Turk Telekom in Istanbul 83-78 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Anadolu Efes made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. French forward Adrien Moerman (202-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 9 rebounds. German center Tibor Pleiss (221-89) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four Anadolu Efes players scored in double figures. Anadolu Efes' coach Ergin Ataman used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Can Korkmaz (187-92, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 21 points and 5 assists and American forward Sam Dekker (204-94, college: Wisconsin) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Turk Telekom. Anadolu Efes will face OGM Orman in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Acibadem in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
