Regular Season Round 2: AB Baskets - Leverkusen 63-51

Leverkusen recorded a loss in Berlin on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by AB Baskets 63-51. AB Baskets forced 26 Leverkusen turnovers. Point guard Linus Briesemeister (190-3) notched 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Emanuel Schueler (195-3) supported him with 18 points. Even 10 points and 6 rebounds by Eliyad Saibou (190-2) did not help to save the game for Leverkusen. Nick Peters (209-2) added 6 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. AB Baskets will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Leverkusen will play against Piraten and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
