And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where fourth ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (3-1) crushed one of their biggest challengers Bonn 2 (2-2) on the road by 38 points 101-63 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the second position in West. Dragons Rhoendorf dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Bonn 2's 28. They outrebounded Bonn 2 48-26 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naturalized Brazilian power forward Gabriel De-Oliveira (206-97, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Center Mark Mboya-Kotieno (206-0, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Maximilian Heimerzheim (200-98) produced 7 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and American point guard Jeremy Lewis (185-86, college: St.Thomas, TX) added 10 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragons Rhoendorf have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in West, which they share with Deutzer. Newly promoted Bonn 2 dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. Dragons Rhoendorf will have a break next round. Bonn 2 will play at home against Grevenbroich (#4) and hope to win that game.
