Very important is a home loss of Acibadem (2-1) against Turk Telekom (2-1) on Sunday night. Host Acibadem was defeated by Turk Telekom in a tough game in Istanbul 88-97. Turk Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Acibadem's 34. They outrebounded Acibadem 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Turk Telekom especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Sam Dekker (204-94, college: Wisconsin) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Canadian power forward Kyle Wiltjer (208-92, college: Gonzaga) accounted for 22 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Five Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. American guard Erick Green (190-91, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 29 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jamal Jones (203-93, college: Texas A&M, agency: Network Sports International) added 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for Acibadem in the defeat. Acibadem's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
