Regular Season Round 2: Prometey-2 - Krivbas 49-89

The game in Kamianske supposed to be also worth to mention about. Krivbas played at the court of Prometey-2. Krivbas smashed Prometey-2 89-49. The game without a history. Krivbas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Prometey-2 to just 4 points in second quarter. Krivbas forced 22 Prometey-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Prometey-2's players. Forward Maxim Nikitin (201-89) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and swingman Nazar Kisilchuk (195-97) supported him with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Krivbas players scored in double figures. Even 11 points and 9 rebounds by center Bogdan Brinyuk (-3) did not help to save the game for Prometey-2. Guard Pavlo Gorobchenko (190-2) added 7 points for the hosts. Prometey-2's coach Dmitry Markov gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Krivbas will play against MBC-Niko 2 in Mykolaiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Prometey-2 will have a break next round.
