Regular Season Round 3: Vagos - Galitos 67-55

There was no surprise when Galitos (0-3) were defeated on the road by Vagos (2-1) 67-55 on Sunday. Vagos dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Galitos' 30. It was a great evening for American forward Maria Blazejewski (185-91, college: LSSU, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Her fellow American import point guard Chelsie Schweers (170-89, college: CNU) helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was American forward Whisper Fisher (188, college: Syracuse) with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Brazilian guard Aruzha Michaski (166-92) scored 14 points (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). Vagos will meet Quinta Lombos (#4) in the next round. Galitos will play against CAB Madeira (#9) and hope to get finally their first victory.
