Regular Season Round 2: Mykolaiv - Ternopil-TNEU 68-106

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Mykolaiv at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by Ternopil-TNEU 106-68. The game without a history. Ternopil-TNEU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Center Oleksandr Kushnirov (210-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Klym Artamonov (185-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 8 points and 9 assists in the effort for Mykolaiv. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ternopil-TNEU is looking forward to face Cherkasy on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Mykolaiv will play against Kyiv Basket and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
