Regular Season Round 1: Final Spor - Manisa 73-59

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Manisa in Bursa. Visitors were defeated by Final Spor 73-59. American guard Terrell Allen (190-97, college: Georgetown) stepped up and scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and forward Gurur Baybora (195-90) chipped in 18 points. Four Final Spor players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Calvin Godfrey (204-90, college: Memphis) responded with 21 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Recep Dogrusoz (192-86) scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Spor will play against Bornova Bld in Izmir in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Manisa will play at home against Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
