Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Ankara: Nesibe (#7) and Ormanspor (#4). Nesibe (3-1) smashed visiting Ormanspor (2-2) by 17 points 75-58. Nesibe dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Ormanspor's 22. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The winners were led by American forward Ruthy Hebard (193-98, college: Oregon, agency: Wasserman) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and Kazakhstan-Belarusian forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85) supported her with 19 points and 7 assists. Even 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by American point guard Riquna Williams (170-90, college: Miami, FL) did not help to save the game for Ormanspor. Montenegrin-American forward Angelica Robinson (197-87, college: Georgia) added 13 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Ormanspor's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Nesibe moved-up to third place, which they share with Galatasaray and Izmit. Ormanspor at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with Besiktas and Botas. Nesibe will play against bottom-ranked Kayseri (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ormanspor will play against the league's second-placed Fenerbahce (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
