Regular Season Round 2: Yambol - Cherno More 87-68

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Yambol's home victory over Cherno More 87-68 on Saturday. Yambol dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More's 26. Yambol forced 22 Cherno More turnovers. American guard Jake Ross (196, college: Springfield) notched 13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and international power forward Andrey Ivanov (206-96) supported him with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Five Yambol players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by Serbian center Milos Cojbasic (208-0) did not help to save the game for Cherno More. Swingman Veselin Georgiev (192-86) added 13 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Yambol will meet Rilski in the next round. Cherno More will play against Chernomorets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
