Regular Season Round 4: Helios Suns - Sentjur 87-72

There was no surprise in Domzale where 6th ranked Sentjur (1-3) was defeated by third ranked Helios Suns (3-1) 87-72 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-72. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Mihailo Sekulovic (206-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Tadej Ferme (187-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Helios Suns' coach Dejan Jakara used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side swingman Jure Span (193-95, college: USC Upstate, agency: PEPI SPORT) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Croatian forward Domagoj Samac (206-93, college: FHSU, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Helios Suns keep a position of league leader, which they share with Rogaska and Terme Olimia. Loser Sentjur dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Zlatorog. Helios Suns will meet Zlatorog (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sentjur will play against Sencur Gor. and hope to win that game.
