Regular Season Round 2: Dynamo-NPU - Interkhim 82-57

Dynamo-NPU (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed Interkhim (0-4) in Kyiv 82-57. The game was mostly controlled by Dynamo-NPU. Interkhim managed to win fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dynamo-NPU forced 20 Interkhim turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dynamo-NPU made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Her fellow American import guard Aliyah Jeune (185, college: USC) chipped in 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Svitlana Kolibabchuk (189-87) who recorded 11 points and 4 assists and the former international center Yevgeniya MBaye (192-92) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
