Regular Season Round 3: Tornado KM - Zalgiris II 92-59

Rather expected game in Kaunas where Zalgiris II (0-3) was crushed by Tornado KM (1-1) 92-59 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tornado KM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game. Tornado KM forced 28 Zalgiris II turnovers and outrebounded them 57-43 including 21 on the offensive glass. Zalgiris II was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Kasparas Syvokas (193-3) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Benas Alisauskas (173-3) helped adding 19 points and 4 assists. Four Tornado KM players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Audrius Pankratjevas (195-3) with 20 points and forward Andrius Jarasiunas (194-3) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tornado KM's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kaunas to the arena Perkunas.
