Regular Season Round 4: Krivbas - MBC-Niko 2 81-83

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Krivbas (3-1) in Kryvyi Rih on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by MBC-Niko 2 (3-1) 83-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Krivbas. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Krivbas were trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 21-14 charge of MBC-Niko 2, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Bogdan Lukian (183-99) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Vladislav Orzul (192-1) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. MBC-Niko 2's coach Valentin Berestnev used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (185-98) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Vladislav Frolov (202-98) added 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Krivbas. MBC-Niko 2 keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Mariupol and Krivbas.
