Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Zaporizhye have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 4-0 record behind leader Kyiv Basket. Loser Cherkasy still closes the standings with five games lost. Zaporizhye will meet Mykolaiv (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cherkasy will have a break next round.
