Rather predictable result when leader Randers (4-0) won against 4th placed Amager (0-5) in Kastrup 106-98 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 106-98. Randers made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Amager turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Amager was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. French center Jonathan Jeanne (218-97, agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all fifteen shots !!!). American forward Brantley Bynum (196-94, college: SF State) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Amager's coach Almir Zeco rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Randers have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Amager at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Randers will face Naestved (#4) on the road in the next round. Amager will play against the league's second-placed Vaerlose and hopes to get finally their first victory.
