Regular Season Round 2: Yalova - Sigortam.net 83-86

A very interesting game took place in Yalova. It ended with only three-point home defeat of Yalova to Sigortam.net 86-83 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. American point guard Derrick Wilson (185-92, college: Marquette, agency: Network Sports International) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. The other American import swingman Brayon Blake (201-95, college: Idaho) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Sigortam.net players scored in double figures. American center Mike Morrison (206-89, college: GMU) replied with 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and power forward Ali Isik (206-90) added 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Yalova. Yalova's coach Murat Yolcu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sigortam.net's next round opponent will be Merkezefendi in Denizl which should be an easy win for them. Yalova will play at home against Ankara Basket and hope to win that game.
