Rather predictable result when seventh ranked BC Vienna (2-2) won against bottom-ranked Arkadia Lions (0-4) in Traiskirchen 89-77 on Saturday. The game without a history. BC Vienna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Richaud Pack (192-92, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording 29 points. The other American import center David Haughton (201-91, college: Purchase) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four BC Vienna players scored in double figures. Croatian forward Dani Koljanin (202-96, college: UALR) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Croatian center Mario Spaleta (209-95) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Arkadia Lions. BC Vienna moved-up to fifth place. Arkadia Lions at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. BC Vienna will face Kapfenberg Bulls (#6) at home in the next round. Arkadia Lions will play against the league's leader Dukes (#1) in Klosterneuburg and hope to get finally their first victory.
