Regular Season Round 4: Vytis - Neptunas-Akv. 89-71

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Neptunas-Akv. (0-1) in Sakiai on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Vytis (4-0) 89-71. Vytis looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Paulius Semaska (185-93) chipped in 13 points and 7 assists. Guard Adomas Sidarevicius (188-1) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Nojus Mineikis (201-0) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Vytis and four Neptunas-Akv. players scored in double figures. Vytis have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Suduva-Mantinga. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Vytis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Neptunas-Akv. will play on the road against Zalgiris II (#6) in Kaunas and hopes to get finally their first victory.
