Herlev defeated Aabyhoj at home 71-67. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Forward Laura Ziegler (186-2) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Emilie Larsen (177-1) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward Malene Pedersen (180-1) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Nikoline Sandback (169-1) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Aabyhoj's coach Susanne Bay tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Aabyhoj will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Herlev will try to continue on its current victory against Amager in Kastrup.
