Regular Season Round 3: Duzce - Manisa 75-71

There was no surprise when Manisa (1-2) was defeated on the road by Duzce Belediye (2-0) 75-71. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Duzce Belediye players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American-Jamaican forward Joel James (208-94, college: UNC) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Duzce Belediye players scored in double figures. Guard Alican Guney (194-89) came up with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Recep Dogrusoz (192-86) added 13 points respectively for Manisa in the defeat. Manisa's coach Ceyhun Cabadak gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
