The game in Deisenhofen was also quite interesting. Giessen 2 (2-0) played at the court of Oberhaching (1-2). Giessen 2 defeated Oberhaching 91-77 on Saturday. Oberhaching was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. American-French Alexandre Doche (199-95, college: Huston-Tillotson) helped adding 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Giessen 2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Bernhard Benke (208-97) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and Janosch Koegler (190-93) scored 23 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Giessen 2 will face Koblenz at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Oberhaching will play against Skyliners II (#12) in Frankfurt and hope to win that game.
