Liga Nova KBM top team - Krka (4-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Hopsi Polzela (1-4) 89-79. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Krka made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Croatian point guard Rok Stipcevic (186-86, agency: Alti Sport) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American guard Roderick Camphor (191-92, college: SWOSU) supported him with 13 points and 4 assists. Krka's coach Vladimir Anzulovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Aaron Carver (201-96, college: ODU) did not help to save the game for Hopsi Polzela. Guard Zan Kosic (188-93) added 24 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Krka have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Hopsi Polzela at the other side keeps the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Zlatorog. Krka will play against Sentjur (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hopsi Polzela will play against Terme Olimia to get more than just one victory in their record.
