Regular Season Round 3: Chaika - Dynamo-NPU 67-80

Superleague top team - Dynamo-NPU (6-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Chaika (2-4) in Berdiansk 80-67. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 46-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Dynamo-NPU made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Chaika turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Chaika helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) who led her team to a victory with 48 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. The other American import guard Aliyah Jeune (185, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international forward Olexandra Radulovich-Kurasova (186-86) replied with 29 points and 9 rebounds and Vlada Gozalova added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Chaika. Chaika's coach Srdjan Radulovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamo-NPU have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Kyiv Basket and Prometey. Chaika lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with four games lost. Dynamo-NPU is looking forward to face Rivne (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Chaika will play against Prometey in Kamianske and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
