Regular Season Round 6: BBU Salzburg - Flames 64-66

Important game to mention about took place in Salzburg. Top-ranked Flames (2-0) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked BBU (2-3) 66-64 in the fight for the sixth place. BBU was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 23-12 third quarter run of Flames. It was a good game for forward David Wrumnig (175-0) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Ben Seipt (196-96) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Flames' coach Christian Fabian allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Raphael Miksch (182-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Slovenian forward Luka Milovac (192-94) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for BBU. Five BBU players scored in double figures. Flames moved-up to sixth place. BBU at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Mustangs. Flames will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BBU will play on the road against Furstenfeld Panthers (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
