Seventh-ranked Botas (3-4) made lots of trouble for third ranked Nesibe (7-1) in Ankara on Tuesday. Nesibe managed to secure only one-point victory 69-68. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was American forward Ruthy Hebard (193-98, college: Oregon, agency: Wasserman) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Kazakhstan-Belarusian forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Nesibe players scored in double figures. American power forward Elizabeth Williams (190-93, college: Duke) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and international center Tilbe Senyurek (190-95) added 23 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Nesibe have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Galatasaray. Botas at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Besiktas. Nesibe is looking forward to face Besiktas (#9) in Istanbul in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play on the road against the league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
