Regular Season Round 4: SISU - Aabyhoj 47-78

Aabyhoj's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Copenhagen, where they outplayed SISU (0-4) 78-47. The game without a history. Aabyhoj led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Caroline Wich (185-96, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and international guard Alberte Rimdal (174-2) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Asta Blauenfeldt (169-2) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Hungarian guard Aisha Kaid (168-97) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aabyhoj maintains fourth position with 1-2 record. It was SISU's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Aabyhoj will play against league's second-placed Amager in Kastrup in the next round and it may be the game of the week. SISU will have a break next round.
