Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Phoenix Hagen (0-2) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Nuernberg (2-2) 93-82 on Friday. Nuernberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Jackson Kent (196-93, college: JMU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and Hungarian point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 13 points and 5 assists during the contest. Nuernberg's coach Ralph Junge used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side Joel-Sadu Aminu (193-97, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Jannik Lodders (198-92) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nuernberg moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams.
