Very important is a road loss of second ranked Gmunden Swans (4-2) against fourth ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (4-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Gmunden Swans were defeated by Raiffeisen Flyers Wels in a tough game in Wels 79-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Gmunden Swans. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts were already 15 points ahead at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 23-10 last quarter charge of Gmunden Swans cut the lead to 86-79 at the end of the game. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels forced 22 Gmunden Swans turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists.
