BasketLigaen round 8 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Svendborg (6-2) against second ranked Bakken (6-1) 96-87 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Svendborg. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Svendborg will play next round against Amager trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Bakken will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked BAC.
