Very expected game when 16th ranked Besiktas (1-7) lost on the road to ninth ranked Socar Petkim (4-4) 82-72. They made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Socar Petkim players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Kendrick Ray (188-94, college: KSU) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import center Steve Zack (210-92, college: La Salle) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Socar Petkim players scored in double figures. Power forward Alperen Sengun (205-2) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds and American guard James Blackmon-Jr (193-95, college: Indiana) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Socar Petkim have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Tofas and Afyon. Besiktas at the other side stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Socar Petkim's next round opponent will be Fethiye (#14) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Besiktas will play against Tofas and hope to win that game.
