Regular Season Round 8: Krivbas - SumDU 86-66

Higher League top team - Krivbas (7-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixth ranked SumDU (2-4) in Kryvyi Rih 86-66. The game was mostly controlled by Krivbas. SumDU managed to win fourth quarter 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SumDU to just 6 points in third quarter. Krivbas forced 27 SumDU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (185-98) who scored 15 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals. Forward Artem Vodolazsky (197-92) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Five Krivbas players scored in double figures. Krivbas' coach Sergei Korablov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
