Regular Season Round 6: Hebar - NSA 71-64

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Hebar as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Hebar defeated 5th ranked NSA in Pazardzhik 71-64. They outrebounded NSA 53-36 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international forward Veselin Veselinov (202-83, college: WVSU) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Yuliy Arabadzhiyski (205-93) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Hebar's coach Atanas Anguelov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Viktor Serafimov (190-0) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Martin Mandalski (188-99) scored 11 points. Four NSA players scored in double figures. Hebar (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Sportist Svoge. Newly promoted NSA dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
