Galatasaray did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-62. Galatasaray dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Izmit's 36. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Latvian center Anete Steinberga (190-90, college: UTEP) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Courtney Williams (173-94, college: S.Florida) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
