Regular Season Round 10: Politekhn.Lvov - Khimik-2 66-91

There was no surprise in Lviv where 7th ranked Politekhn.Lvov (1-5) was crushed by fifth ranked Khimik-2 (4-4) 91-66 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Khimik-2. Politekhn.Lvov was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Nikita Bezyma (193-1) fired 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Denys Klevzunyk (195-0) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Khimik-2 players scored in double figures. Khimik-2's coach Aleksandr Paschenko felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Vladyslav Zakharchuk (200-99) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and guard Nikola Polyulyak (192-90) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Khimik-2 moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BIPA O. and SumDU. Politekhn.Lvov lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
