No shocking result in a game when Crailsheim Merlins (2-0) beat at home Brose Bamberg (1-2) 101-95. Crailsheim Merlins made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Crailsheim Merlins players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-95, college: Vermont) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). American swingman Tim Coleman (196-95, college: NJIT) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center David Kravish (208-92, college: California) who recorded 18 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Devon Hall (196-95, college: Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) added 21 points respectively. Five Crailsheim Merlins and four Brose Bamberg players scored in double figures. Crailsheim Merlins' next round opponent will be BG Goettingen (#9) at home which should be theoretically an easy game.
