Regular Season Round 10: Mykolaiv - K.Sokoly 81-73

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked K.Sokoly (2-7) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Mykolaiv (2-7) 81-73. The game without a history. Mykolaiv led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for American forward Nathan Adrian (206-95, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Canadian-Nigerian guard Keith Omoerah (194-92, college: Manitoba) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Mykolaiv's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center LaRon Dendy (205-88, college: MTSU) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and center Igor Chumakov (208-90) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for K.Sokoly. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mykolaiv moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated K.Sokoly. K.Sokoly lost seventh consecutive game. Mykolaiv will again play against K.Sokoly (#10) in Kharkiv in the next round. K.Sokoly will play at home against Zaporizhye and hopes to get back on the winning track.
