Important game to mention about took place in Linz. Third ranked Basket Flames (4-2) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging bottom-ranked Linz Wels (0-3) 70-67 on Sunday evening. Linz Wels were ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 23-11 third quarter run of Basket Flames. They also forced 25 Linz Wels turnovers. Montenegrin Agatija Vukicevic (-3) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and Luxembourg forward Loulou Kenens (173-97) supported her with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Even 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals by guard Lisa Ganhor (167-1) did not help to save the game for Linz Wels. Center Marlies Kolin (179-92) added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
